Our tour starts in Texas to witness how solar energy is being used to power pipelines and off-grid oil and gas production operations in America’s largest onshore oil producing region.
Texas is also home to five of the world’s 10 largest wind farms. We will visit one. While in LasVegas, we visit the Cresant Dunes Solar Energy project and the Hoover Dam hydroelectric plant.
Both feed the LosAngeles grid. Our cultural program? The Grand Canyon.
The LAGCOE 2017 exhibition in Lafayette, Louisiana is expected to draw nearly 20,000 attendees from 40 countries and 49 U.S. states. The exhibition focuses on onshore technologies and equipment, plus offshore shallow water. Our tour includes a site visit to an independent oil producer where participants can view operating wells, topside facilities and discuss production operations with the actual field operator. Oil&Gas Eurasia’s program, supported by Scottish industry trade groups, will include meetings with international oilfield operators, international service companies, business educators, EPC contractors, IT specialists. The focus is on accomplishing more for less money by optimizing business processes and supply chain management.
